I am a proud representative of the seventh generation of my family hailing from Mason, Texas. Breaking new ground, I became the first in my lineage to earn a college degree, a journey marked by determination and pride. In September 2023, I embarked on a new chapter, marrying my husband, a dedicated teacher and coach. Together, we call Mason home, where I am currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration while simultaneously serving as the Student Regent on the Board of Regents for the Texas Tech University System.
Beyond my academic pursuits, I am deeply intertwined with my family's recent venture - the acquisition of the Mason Feed Store. This endeavor offers a diverse range of agricultural services and products, catering to customers across Texas and parts of Louisiana. With a profound passion for agriculture, I am equally dedicated to advocating for Type 1 Diabetes awareness. Having been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 14 in 2013, I am committed to promoting education and advocacy surrounding the condition. I see each day as an opportunity to serve as a light, both in my professional endeavors and in my advocacy work.
